IT support for Fountain Valley dental offices.

Every time a patient sits in the chair, your imaging, practice software and front desk computers need to work. We look after all three.

IT support in Fountain Valley

Dental IT in Fountain Valley

Fountain Valley is a compact city with two hospitals and a long list of medical and dental offices along Brookhurst Street and near the 405. The clients we support here are dental practices.

A dental office has its own mix of technology: practice-management software, imaging sensors and X-ray workstations in every operatory, a server or cloud system holding patient records, and phones that can’t go down. We look after all of it, so you call one team instead of four vendors.

Sound familiar?

The IT problems we fix for Fountain Valley offices.

  • Imaging that crawls while the patient waits

Slow X-ray or imaging software in the operatory throws off the whole schedule. We keep imaging workstations, sensors and your network tuned so images come up quickly.

  • Vendors blaming each other

The imaging vendor blames the network, and the software company blames the computer. We take the problem over and work with your vendors until it’s fixed.

  • One-person IT with no backup

If your IT help is one person who is often busy or away, your practice waits. With us, a whole team knows your office.

  • Ransomware risk to patient records

Dental offices are frequent ransomware targets. We protect every computer, filter dangerous email and keep tested backups, so one bad click doesn’t shut the practice down.

  • A full production studio for a medical spa

“Productive IT is the first one I’d recommend to people asking me who to go to for IT support.”

    Enoch Kwok, Skin Perfect Medical

    Read transcript

My name is Enoch Kwok. I’m the CEO for Skin Perfect Medical and The Aesthetic Immersion. At Skin Perfect Medical, we are a full-service medical spa. We offer treatments such as Botox and fillers, laser treatments, anti-aging, body sculpting, weight loss. We have been in the Southern California market for nearly 20 years, and we service over 10,000 patients a year. The Aesthetic Immersion is a medical aesthetic education and training company located in Orange County, California, and we teach all things medical aesthetics.

One of the challenges when you are building a new medical spa practice: you have to figure out and sort out the technological challenges there. How do you connect your computers? How do you connect your Wi-Fi? Making sure that we have ample signal strength within the entire facility.

Our challenge at The Aesthetic Immersion: we wanted to add a full production studio to what we had built really haphazardly. Productive IT has been helpful in helping us put a plan together. David was able to look at our current setup, recommend a lot of the equipment, and also help us do a layout, do a diagram, do workflows, and help us really identify the areas that we needed to focus on.

He was able to help us out with coming in after hours to help do a lot of the IT work, to help us with the wiring, with the cabling, so it didn’t really impact our day-to-day schedule. Productive IT is the first one I’d recommend to people asking me who to go to for IT support.

  • “Let me pull over. I will fix it.”

“As for customer service, I don’t feel like a customer… Literally, I feel like I’m calling a friend.”

Dr. Michael Hakimi, Hakimi Plastic Surgery

    Read transcript

I’m Dr. Michael Hakimi. I’m a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. I got to know Productive IT when I didn’t even have my own practice. So for my entire adult life having my own practice, I’ve been with Productive IT.

Very quickly into the startup life, within a couple of years, we realized that we need a strong IT company, and the CEO of the company did his research and found Productive IT. And the moment this company entered our life was night and day. They were available on their phone 24/7.

Sometimes I’ve gone on the phone, and I hear, “Let me pull over. I will fix it.” I’m like, “If you’re driving, call me when you’re done.” “No, no, no, let me pull over, because by the time I get to work, I’ll get busy.” Like, the number of times they’ve pulled over to answer a question or fix something… “Oh, I’m sorry. I’m picking up my daughter.” “Perfect timing, Dr. Hakimi. I’m picking up my daughter. I’ll fix it for you.” On his phone, he fixes my problems.

So yeah, as for customer service, I don’t feel like a customer, and I’m not saying it to be cheesy. Literally, I feel like I’m calling a friend.

  • 150 patients a day, then the server goes down

“If I have a problem, I can call 24/7, and I honestly will get help.”

Dr. Amy Litchfield, California Coastal Dermatology

    Read transcript

My name is Krista. I am the office manager of California Coastal Dermatology. My name is Amy Litchfield. I’m a dermatologist. We are full-scale dermatology. We also do some cosmetics as well.

With our former IT company, we had a lot of issues with non-responsiveness when we had an issue. It’s very challenging when your server’s down and you have 150 patients for the day. So that was really a huge challenge for us.

So they came in and made sure all of our equipment was up to par, and that everything was functioning, and revamped our IT system, and made sure our servers were running smoothly. If I have a problem, I can call 24/7, and I honestly will get help.

  • From a 5-day ticket wait to resolved in minutes

“Now I can just pick up the phone and dial a number or send a text or an email, and it gets resolved within minutes.”

Dr. Daniel G. Kolder, Pacifica Center for Plastic Surgery

    Read transcript

My name is Gina and I am the Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Daniel G. Kolder: I’m a plastic surgeon in Camarillo, California, and my company is Pacifica Center for Plastic Surgery.

Before, if we had an issue with something, we would have to email the company. The company would then create a ticket item for us. We would get that ticket item, and then it would take about five to seven days to resolve that ticket item. We would be sitting ducks, and we wouldn’t be able to work on our computers or work at all.

The way we found Productive IT Solutions was we were trying to figure out shortcuts within our EMR, and somebody in San Diego said, “Hey, there’s somebody in your area that kind of does that, and it’s Productive IT Solutions.”

Now I can just pick up the phone and dial a number or send a text or an email, and it gets resolved within minutes. Productive IT Solutions has been one of the best companies that we’ve worked with in the last 15 years.

  • One IT company for software, hardware and HIPAA

“Having David with the knowledge that he has and the customer service that he gives us is peace of mind.”

Dr. Jon Bradley Strawn, Scultura Plastic Surgery

    Read transcript

I’m Dr. Brad Strawn, Scultura Plastic Surgery. I first met David when we were implementing our software, our primary software that runs our business.

Having the services of Productive IT, I can tell you that it is a safety net, especially in today’s world, where we have to have things encrypted, we have to have HIPAA compliance. Our patient health information is so valuable.

It just made everything easier. Instead of working with different people for software and for hardware and for web stuff, and even phone, it was really nice, because I now just have one IT person that I can contact. And having David with the knowledge that he has and the customer service that he gives us is peace of mind. Highly recommend him.

  • Starting a medical practice? Hire this IT company

“Phone was always answered immediately whenever I had any questions. It never even went to voicemail.”

    Kelly E. Fordyce, M.D.

    Read transcript

I’m Kelly Fordyce. I’m an internist and my company is Kelly Fordyce, MD, and I opened up in September of 2021. I was referred by another physician who opened up a practice a couple years before I did, a friend of mine, and she said, “Oh, when you open up your practice, this is who you need to hire for IT.”

So we contacted Productive IT numerous times, especially early on when we first opened up, and I told him what I was doing and he came right over and set up all my IT for me.

Phone was always answered immediately whenever I had any questions. It never even went to voicemail. It was always answered, “What can I help you with, Doctor?” And the problem was fixed just right then and there.

I had no idea really what to do, and I don’t know where I would’ve turned to get the help that I needed to start up my practice.

How we work

Remote help first. On-site when it counts.

  1. You call, text or email. A real person picks up, not a call center.
  2. We fix it remotely whenever we can, because that’s fastest for you.
  3. We come to you in Fountain Valley when it needs hands on the equipment, often within a few hours.
  4. We own it until it’s fixed, including dealing with your other vendors.
